Split Official Trailer 1 (2017) – M. Night Shyamalan Movie

While the mental divisions of those with dissociative identity disorder have long fascinated and eluded science, it is believed that some can also manifest unique physical attributes for each personality, a cognitive and physiological prism within a single being.

Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy, The Witch), Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him—as well as everyone around him—as the walls between his compartments shatter apart.

  1. I could really love this movie if shamalan hadn’t used an actual mental illness. Making a mentally ill person the villain and making up facts about an illness that is already extremely misunderstood was very irresponsible.

  2. I was actually quite disappointed with this movie. Not much happened. It was boring. Totally overhyped. The trailer makes it look better than it actually is.

  3. Okay, just letting you all know that people with DID are 100% NOT like this! Having DID does not make you dangerous or a criminal at all. Yes, some alters can be dangerous, but they have no more of chance to be than any other person.. Please please please know that the information in this film is not factually correct. I mean no harm to the people in this film, I just wanted to say that this film really hurt me and many people suffering with DID, and still continues to harm people with this disorder. It's also so painful to see people relate the disorder to this movie, because it is nothing like it. If you want factually correct information on this film there are some YouTubers and other people on social media that have videos you can watch, or you can research it if you would like to. Please everyone have a wonderful day/night/afternoon. Sorry for the long comment.

  4. Okay… Personally… I watched the movie (after hearing so much about it) and have to say, I was gobsmacked!! The actor, known as James McAvoy deserves OSCAR of the YEAR for that performance!! No one can tell me he didn't completely nail this movie!! (Now, fair enough, it's a little exaggerated), but there are mental health conditions such as what's described in this movie!! (Apart from the ''Spider-Man'' part at the end)

Watch GLASS, James McAvoy plays a badass!!

  5. This is the best movie about Multiple Personality Disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder. Idk it just looks so similar or i'm just wrong—(ッ)/—
