  1. Ok I got this part but how do I change it on the watcher side? My stream only allows 720p source.. can't change it on the watcher side.

  2. Hi I'm streaming to twitch and its default is 1080p however it won't change to anything else in twitch anyone help? 🙂

  3. Can someone please help. No matter what resolution size I choose, it only shows the upper left 25% of my screen. Can't seem to fix it

  4. What if i'm the one watching a live stream and i go to video quality and all of a sudden i only have 2 options either Auto or 900p60 (source) whereas before i had many other options all the way down to 160p. How do i fix this problem ??

  5. Help ! please

I am very new to OBS and wanted to screen record using 1920 x 1080 resolution

My monitor is set to 1280 x 1024 which is showing as the recommended setting (it's not a new monitor)

How do I get the recording to fill my screen at 1080 please ?
When I type in 1280×1024 in the base canvas size the only option for output is 1280×720. This works as it's still 16:9 and I was happy, but only realised today when I wanted to add text to my recording and discovered the reduced size. I'd assumed everything was 1080.

  6. helpful I do know how to do that yet the out put of video does not fill the screen completely which is what I am looking to do!

  7. Why does OBS window covers whole screen ? So I cannot click on any icon. I can't record OBS screen. Is it something to do with resolution?

  8. Im using TV as monitor and I don't know how to get rid of black screen on sideIf you want to see it, go and watch my video and plz helkp if you can

  9. Thanks very practical. But maybe you can reduce the resulution of your screen? 😉 It's really small and zoomed in it gets blurred.
